| I've installed several sets of turbos on Zs before. This is the first I've dealt with using this particular turbo and manifold setup. I've never had to grind on the comp. housing or manifold before for any given reason. I've very well versed in clocking turbos and fabricating what needs to be done in order to achieve the final product. Yes I agree that the installer is the one to finalize the installation..(ie...myself) however this post was to merely show that not all turbos that are classified as "bolt on" will work. Im not one for grinding on housings. I grind on cylinder heads and fabricate all day...i've seen my fair share of issues. As I stated before Im going to go through the turbos once again and see if I can get them to fit "properly" without any form of grinding aka..butchery. This customers engine is being equipped with a lot of new products I've been working on and a new oiling system I just finished today machining. I'll keep updated threads and new things i'm doing to the engine as I go along.
